Communicating innovation

The purpose of the Communications Committee is to support the Working Group's initiatives by developing effective communications strategies aimed at raising awareness and informing tourism stakeholders about the advances and opportunities offered by artificial intelligence (AI).

This initiative is essential to ensure clear and consistent dissemination of our innovative projects, and to strengthen collaboration between the various members and partners of the tourism industry.

The committee's mandate

These are the terms of reference guiding the work of our committee of AI experts for the tourism sector.

Strategic direction

Ensure alignment of communications with overall Working Group strategies. Develop, monitor and manage the Group's reputation.

Create and distribute relevant content for the digital platforms we wish to feed.

Coordinate communications around events related to AI in tourism and highlight efforts for the ethical and responsible use of AI.

Collaboration and support

The Committee plays a central role in the Task Force's knowledge sharing and exploration of new ideas, and ensures fluid and effective communication between the various members and sub-committees of the Task Force to foster greater collaboration.

The Committee develops and maintains digital platforms where members can share knowledge, ideas and collaborate.

Guidance and technology watch

Regularly communicate the discoveries and emerging trends found by the Working Group through newsletters, blog posts, and publications on social networks.

Represent the committee at industry events to gather and share information on the latest technologies and trends.

Corporate communications

Develop and maintain the Working Group's brand image

  • Ensure that the Working Group's actions (and these Working Tables) are publicized among AI and tourism sector players.
  • Recognize the importance of the AI revolution for our industry

Knowledge transfer

Plan and implement actions to inform the Quebec tourism community and raise awareness of AI advances and tools.

  • Develop and promote digital communications tools (website, newsletter, social networks, etc.).
  • Following strict confidentiality standards, create a database of tourism stakeholders interested in our approach.
